Movie On Youngest Victim Of GREAT WHITE Nightclub Fire To Premier

October 29, 2007

According to The Associated Press, a movie about the life of the youngest person killed in The Station nightclub fire was set to premier in Woonsocket yesterday.

The film, titled "41", is about 18-year-old Nicholas O'Neill. O'Neill, a musician who performed in a rock band, was among the 100 people killed in the February 2003 fire at The Station nightclub in West Warwick.

The fire began when a pyrotechnics display for the band GREAT WHITE ignited flammable soundproofing foam on the walls of the club.

The feature-length film is directed by Christian de Rezendes, a New York filmmaker, and O'Neill's older brother, Christian O'Neill. The movie includes home video footage and interviews with O'Neill's family and friends.
